First and foremost I'd like to start by presenting myself my name is Abderrahmane Adnane, I am 21 years old and I’m originally from El Jadida but I was born and raised in Agadir in a family of five

Fortunately I was born into a family that has a deep passion and appreciation for knowledge and education. Despite not being able to accomplish many things due to limited revenue and lack of resources, but that didn’t stop us from seeking knowledge, or be passionate about it.

In Agadir, the same city I was raised and born. I started going to school and I fell in love with education straight away and that love grew and it still manifests itself in me as an adult.

During the time I was in middle school I started Noticing my ever-growing passion towards anything and everything concerning English.

English became my favorite class to study for and the one where I can see myself excelling, And in no time I have perfected both writing it and reading it.

Since then I’ve really put my heart and soul into perfecting English in every single aspect and that stems from the deep appreciation and fascination that I have for it as a language and a culture it’s like the more I learn about it the more in love with it I become.

And that’s what motivated me to pick English as a major in the University after graduating high school and geting my baccalaureate.

Honestly I’ve always loved English and wanted to get the chance to master it and dive profoundly into every single premises of it.

And that’s why after putting a lot of effort and time into mastering it both in school and on my free time, I am very proud of the fact that I now speak English on a native speaker’s level, English was truly my gateway to having a positive attitude towards life, it has paved the road for me in various fields such as having a special appreciation towards collective work and being a part of many events and unique clubs.

The Maya association in particular has played a huge part in my journey to perfecting my English since it is mainly run by alumni of the access American program, who have successfully made Maya a will balanced supportive environments that will spare no limits in their educational methods and their engaging activities in the sake of helping middle schoolers improve their English.

Because of that upon my arrival at University and After adapting to it’s environment I found that I was drawn to many clubs and organizations, especially the ones that allowed me to be able to Share and develop my ideas in an efficient way that will help solve my community’s problems.

here are some of the organizations that I had the honor of being an active member in

One of the best advantages English has given me is allowing me to make friends and acquaintances of different countries, cultures, and perspectives.

For example, an English professor that I had the honor of personally meeting him about two years ago. His name is Thomas D’Andrea, he’s a philosophy professor at the university of Cambridge, Selwyn college, and a knowledge seeker who spends most of his time traveling to various destinations of the world enjoying the different perspectives and opinions that every location has to offer, but he especially makes sure to swing by my city Agadironce or twice a year.

I’ve met him last year and we had some long interesting conversations where we shared a lot of points of view and opinions and I was especially fond of his fascination with everything that has to do with Morocco. I then had the honor of encountering him again this year, where I got to listen and benefit from his various experiences and researches.

I also appreciate his acknowledgment of all the effort I put into becoming who i am at the moment, and his admiration for my passion about English and the fact that I chose it to be my major at the university.

After multiple very fulfilling conversations, i was pleasantly su
