The other night I came home from work to discover Friscolino dragging his legs behind him as he tried to climb the stairs. We rushed to the vet to discover that the sweet boy has heart disease. They ran some tests to confirm and then we were faced with the question: Euthanize or perform the aggressive and expensive treatment. Of course we chose treatment, he is our child.

We passed the evening anxiously awaiting to hear from the vet. We got a call saying she was giving him some medication to try and prevent him from going in to premmature heart failure.

The next morning we got a call saying it seemed to work and that we could come visit him later in the day. We headed down to the 24 hour animal hospital and spent some time trying to get Frisco to eat. We were unsuccessful but managed to get him to purr quite a lot.

It must have done him some good because a few hours later we got another call saying we could take him home!

The poor boy has VERY limited mobility with his back legs still and we have to help him with nearly everything.

He has some more very expensive medical appointments coming up, as well as some very expensive medical bills for the treatment performed at the pet hospital.

Please help us pay these bills so we can ensure we can pay for the next steps in treatment. Friscolino is a sweetheart who loves to run and jump around, we hope that he'll regain enough function in his legs to move around on his own.

If you can't afford a small donation, that's okay, come give Friscolino a scratch on the head and a kiss. Send him your healthy kitty loving vibes. Anything helps!
