My friend is someone who is very happy-go-lucky, and always told me how much she loves and appreciates her father. Her father is an OFW, and supports her and her little brother's studies. She is so close to her father, she pours out her frustrations and heartaches to him. She was the definition of daddy's little girl. Everything was completely fine, but last summer, her father was sent home for he was diagnose with lung cancer. He stayed in Manila for check ups, and my friend's mother left work in order to stay by his side. The insurance company assisted with some basic fees, but when the results were positive, the insurance company refused to help fund them, even if he was in the ship when the diagnosis came out. They were slowly having a hard time financially. Her mother took a long leave from work to find a charity to help fund her father's chemo and hospital bills. My friend is also my thesis mate, every time we were working on the thesis, she would tell me how heartbroken she is. I never saw my friend this depressed, she was someone who kept smiling and laughing. She was the one who'd tell me not to worry, and was someone I relied on with some deep stuff. In January 3,2018, her father was brought to Chong Hua Hospital here in Cebu, and went through CT Scan. The doctor informed them that his cancer cells in his lungs were gone, but it went to his brain. My friend couldn't stop her tears when telling me this, she thought all the chemotherapy sessions were helping. She was aware the side effects, but she never thought it would be like this. We're graduating this year from college, and it really breaks my heart to see my friend this way. We have a lot to pay in school, and plus her family has to pay her father's hospital bills. She feels hesitant of going to school, she is tempted to stop and work in order to help her mother. They barely have anything to pay right now, and are still in search for another charity to help fund the hospital bills. I'm starting this campaign, because I want to help in any way. I'm no doctor, and I know that I'm not some scientist that can whip up a cure, but if there is any way I could help her. I would, and that's why I found this gogetfunding. Please help her, even if it's just small, it makes a difference.

If you do not have paypal or a credit/debit. You can send it directly to my friend.
