Friend of Wayne Fisher in Dire Need

I have a friend at my church who is in dire need of money to pay bills because of a family members, cancer diagnosis, dementia, personal cancer battle, Covid almost destroying their private business, a loss this week of a 2nd job, and expenses related to taking care of the family member. Also having to sell a house that was lived in for 20 years to try and make ends meet, and the deep fear of what has happened to another family member who has gone missing. It is a horrible story, but all true. My friend has tried everything to keep up. I have not been asked to do this, but I feel compelled because of my friendship, and the beliefs that my church has taught me, to try and take this measure to help. Our co pastors in Sarasota have an unabashed belief that is constantly repeated. BE GENOROUS. Use what you have graciously been given to help others. This is what God said to do, and This is what I am doing. Not one penny goes to me. Everything raised here will be given right before Christmas to my friend, to help survive the holiday season, take care of the family member, and provide a cushion as they try to plan a way forward on their own. To show my sincerity, I am personally starting this fund with $250. If my goal of $4000 is met, or close to being met, I will contribute another $250. I want you to know how deeply I feel about helping this person. My friend is kind, compassionate, caring, loving and richly deserve the help.
