Fresh Start

Who

Hello, my name is Daun Roche and I am here to raise a bit of capital to make a fresh start for myself and my beautiful children. Six years ago, I moved out to Hollywood with my now ex-husband so that he could pursue his musical career. Within two years of our moving here, he left for a younger woman who ended up trying to kill me on the 4th of July. Sixty-seven stitches, a botched new relationship with someone I thought was trust-worthy and what feels like a lifetime of unending hardship, and I am still trying to put the pieces of my life back together. It has definitely been hard without a vehicle and two young babies under 2 and without family to help out when you need them the most.

What

When I came across this site, I felt a ray of hope. I am not one to ask for help lightly and I have been doing everything on my own for so long that maybe a bit of help wouldn't be too much to ask for. To move back to New Mexico and start my bakery business that I have wanted to do for so long would be a dream come true. To escape the pricey and hectic life of Hollywood and allow my children to have a home with more than one bedroom should be easier than it is, trust me, I work hard but it all goes to rent, food and bills. To have a vehicle again for doctor's appointments for the babies and not have to walk so far with the arthritis in my feet hendering my every step seems to good to be true. Any little bit helps.

Why

Moving is expensive. Vehicles are harder than I thought to save up for. Having a business and a fresh start for the future would be priceless. Just call it Santa Fe Cafe Dreaming...
