I am a 65 year old grandmother.  5 years ago I was diagnosed with Temperal Arteritis, which is a life threatening disease.  I had to be put on prednisone (steroids) and methotrexate (chemo) for almost 4 years.  I had every side effect from the prednisone that you can get.  I got Bilateral Avascluar necrosis of the hips and have had one hip replaced, just waiting until I can no longer stand the pain to get the other one fixed.  I also severe RA, which steroids contributed to.  I have trigger finger in 8 fingers and will have surgery in the next few weeks.  I also have cataracts at a very early age, thanks again to the prednisone. There are days I can barely get around.  I have not been able to work since 2009 and have lived on credit cards, cash advances and disability trying to keep up with co-pays and surgeries. I gained 70 pounds during this prednisone time and could barely move I was so obese.  I miss the days when I woke up with a smile on my face and looked forward to the day ahead.  Now I can barely get out of bed most days.  I have 5 grandchildren and I want to enjoy them and be able to do things with them and enjoy them.  I am asking for contributions to raise money to pay off my bills so that I can start all over and start getting my knees, shoulders, hip and fingers and thumbs fixed so I can enjoy however much time I have left and spend it with my children and grandchildren.  this money would allow me to pay off my bills and have the 20% I need for all of the upcoming surgeries.   Please find it in your heart to make a donation, any amount.  I really need your help.
