PENIEL FOUNDATION

The PENIEL Foundation was established as a legal entity in San Jose, Costa Rica, in October 2008. Since then, we have served over 15,000 people with the PENIEL Method, guiding them to solve problems such as depression, sadness, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, sexual and psychological abuse, addictions, difficulties in personal relationships, among other problems that keep them trapped and limits their ability for achieving happiness and wellbeing.

The PENIEL Method is based on the belief that every human being is a combination of mind, emotions and spirit and therefore, the solution to this type of problems, requires a holistic approach. The PENIEL Method provides this type of approach, guiding our beneficiaries through a life changing experience that identifies and eliminates forever, the mental and spiritual roots of their problems, allowing them to find their life purpose and develop their full potential.

In the last five years, PENIEL has also become a specialist in poor and seriously indebted families, based on the understanding that financial problems find their roots in emotional barriers, wrong beliefs as well as other mental and spiritual factors.

The PENIEL Method applies mainly to adults over 18 years of age. However, it has specific protocols for the care of children, adolescents, youth, couples, entire families, and older adults.

PENIEL uses a protocolized method, which has a beginning and an end. It consists of the application of techniques which effectiveness has been extensively proven and includes a number of tools that facilitate their application and replication in any context or population. This has been widely demonstrated in the successful experience of people of all ages and backgrounds.

In 12 sessions or less (one per week), PENIEL allows the beneficiary to overcome conditions that for years have limited the development of its intrinsic potential, the identification of its personal purpose and the enjoyment of life.

The PENIEL Foundation conceives itself as a flexible entity, with the capacity to serve people anywhere in the world. In this sense, it offers services in the place that is most convenient for our customers and beneficiaries, including virtual, online care, for people in any country in the world or domestic patients who have difficulties for attending to our offices.

PENIEL currently has 38 certified facilitators in the PENIEL Method, who have received a special education that includes: 192 face-to-face training hours and 60 hours of work on personal and group assignments. After this training, they are able t to obtain their certification as facilitators, appling a practical beneficiary care process, fully supervised by the Training and Development Director and which adds an additional 25 hours of education.

Once facilitators join the Foundation as formal workers, they continue to receive ongoing training for 8 hours per week, on issues related to patient care, spiritual development, leadership, strengthening of skills, capacity building and group work, among others.

The PENIEL Foundation charges its beneficiaries with an almost symbolic fee, which is less than 50% of the cost of an appointment with a psychologist. However, many people, especially those unemployed, poor or over-indebted, do not have the money to cover the cost of these sessions. That´s why the Foundation has been developing a scholarships program, which allows us to provide the service to dozens of families in this type of situation.

The current campaign has therefore as its main objective, to fund our scholarship program, enabling us to serve thousands of people and families, who desperately need the life changing support we provide and who are not able to cover the cost of our services.

At PENIEL we believe in holistic mental and spiritual healing support to achieve the positive transformation of life we all seek for. Your support with a donation of $10 dollars or more, will play a huge role in creating awareness on mental health issues and healing dozens of people who are now depressed, with suicidal thoughts or trying to overcome abuse, addictions and many other difficult life situations.

Suicide Redemption.

Update posted by ROXANA VIQUEZ at 10:25 pm

The ultimate tragedy in any family is suicide. Suicide is a double disaster… Not only does it prematurely end a life, it wreaks havoc on the lives of those left behind. And that was the greatest fear and horror for Sebastian’s family, a 14-year-old middle school student. Sebastian had dread. . . . .
