Free Mind is an English lobby standing up for consumers’ rights against the new and unknown threat of neuromarketing.
Neuromarketing is the use of neurosciences (MRI, eye-tracking, facial coding etc) for commercial purposes. Transnational corporations use neurosciences methods to develop strategies to stimulate unconscious instincts and inhibit consumers’ rational choices. Those practices are legal in every country of the world, except France.
We want to make neuromarketing illegal, so that consumers can get their freedom of choice back. We believe that ethical issues are at stake and that dangerous drifts could appear if nothing is done now.
Our aim is to raise public awareness on neuromarketing and reach the political sphere to set the terms for an essential debate on marketing ethics.
