You may have met Destinnie when she lived with her Grandmother and Step-Grandfather (Jamie) in Portland as a little girl.

Hello, my name is Tiehna

This call to action is my last resort to save my daughter.

She was reported to Child Protective Services by police on a technicality after her and the father took the child to a hospital due to what doctors said was a seizure.

For two months we had an attorney who did nothing to help, as we could not pay in full.

She was not represented appropriately, considering what she was being charged with and investigated for.

As a consequence, her bond was set to one million dollars and reduction was denied.

I owe the attorney $4500 in remaining fees, but will to raise much more due to the nature of the charges. And I am calling on anyone who can empathize or at the very least understand how convoluted these cases can get when honesty is not a part of the narrative. Destinnie deserves proper due process for her civil rights as well as an opportunity for others to hear her story as this is one of hundreds if not thousands of cases where people proclaim their innocence. She deserves an opportunity to prove it.

We want her record cleared and the charges expunged.

Destinnie was 20 at the beginning of this ordeal and turned 21 eight days before she was arrested. She is a college graduate, at the beginning of her career in music, and very much in love with this child. She was prepared to be a family with the father and his two children and they were in the process of gaining custody of both children.

Your help would save a life from being ruined. It would bring attention to a system notorious for breaking families apart and leaving the mess to be cleaned up by those in the crossfire.

We all hear the problematic stories regarding CPS and we always say it will never happen to us.

This all came as a surprise and happened so fast and I was so scared that I didn’t think to question the process.

I’m raising the funds while also reaching out to pro bono attorneys who could help in this horrible process.

My life, the father’s life, and my daughter’s life has been completely put on hold and the devastation continues as they continue to add charges as technicalities.Please find it in your hearts and minds to donate and or provide any resources and referrals that will help this case.
