FREE CESCHI, HELP FAKE FOUR

Short Summary

• Over the last 5 years Fake Four has been a risk taking independent record label Fake Four that is approaching their 50th release.  Fake Four has released genre-pushing albums by progressive hip hop artists, experimental indie poppers & electronic producers. Today Fake Four founder Ceschi Ramos is starting an 18 month sentence on a questionable marijuana charge. After his family was threatened and he was forced to give a coached statement to Police in 2010 he ended up going to court for years. In the end he has taken a reasonable plea bargain compared to the 5-7 years he was facing. Right now the stability of Fake Four is being threatened by Ceschi's situation & the exorbitant amount of debt that has been accumulated due to legal fees.  

• We truly feel that Fake Four is a filling a void with the music we release.  We take risks, work hard, and go where very few people in this stagnant industry would dare to go.  We believe that our voice is important and that our community is important.  Your contribution will help Fake Four maintain and even grow further in spite of Ceschi's absence.  

What We Need & What You Get

• We are asking for 15,000 but would actually love to see even more support if possible - with the rewards we're giving we're making it well worth your donation!  Fake Four has regularly paid employees and our monthly overhead for the rest of 2013 is over $10,000 per month.  It may sound insane, but every month we have to pay for manufacturing, publicists, radio promotions, recording budgets, design work, web maintenance fees, label management, shipping supplies, distribution fees and the list goes on.  

• For your generous donations we have really put together some amazing rewards in proper Fake Four fashion.  Even the smallest rewards here will be awesome.  There are music & video links EXCLUSIVELY available for campaign funders, there are Fake Four gift boxes, and some campaign-only new FREE CESCHI shirt & Fake Four merchandise .  For the first time we're offering membership to Fake Four that will ensure you receive our next 10 cds plus a member only shirt. We're even designing a Four Finger shaped USB drive filled with all 50 Fake Four related releases including the ONLY available digital version of Ceschi's very limited Cooler Than Cucumbers release "FORGOTTEN FOREVER".  A number of the artists on Fake Four have even offered to make art, record & produce songs with a select number of campaign funders. 

• Even if we don't reach this goal - all money will go towards Fake Four & the preservation of the label.  Together we will find a way to make this work!
