In the midst of the on-going global pandemic that has brought the nations' economy on its knees, I have been trying all means by rolling out a weekly feeding program in the surrounding communities for about 6000 households despite all the challenges.
On our program, each household for the three months was receiving a packet of maize meal, cooking oil, sugar and a bar of soap to maintain basic hygiene. therefore this was not enough but to look for amicable solutions
This community has been heavily relying on tourists that visit the Maasai Mara national game reserve but with the closure of airports and livestock sale yards as a measure to control the pandemic acquiring the most basic of needs such as food has become a challenge in the community and this has brought bing suffering the kids and old people
Therefore being a man of statue and kindness, raised and brought up by this community to where I'm today, I had to find an amicable solution to the food crisis that is on-going at the community, not only dive deep into pockets but also I ask for good friends and various donors or any good wishes to support me in helping to feed and restore my community during this difficult times of which it's one way of protecting the wild animals to continue living in presenting harmony.
I have started educating people on the importance of growing natural food eg maize and beens as well as vegetables, in the near future we continue providing food to the society and the surrounding communities as one way of giving back to the community, am so happy and encouraged that some of our community members have already started to prepare the garden for seedlings plantation indeed there is some green light on the tunnel, to start and to all this going we need money to make this work
Our aim is to inspire, restore a mixed where people, livestock and wildlife co-exist together in harmony
The greatest happiness in the universe is indeed in helping and feeding the people without any expectations from them and seeing that hungry kid happy, you become so rich in heart. Any little support you give is highly appreciated and can really make a positive change to the whole community
With kind regards
