Framing Boards

We are a Non-Profit and operate only with volonteers pay most of our expenses through donantions. We do not charge admission at this time but will probably have to do so in the future. Meanwhile operating costs are at a minimum in the winter when we open to the public by appointment only. We still are acquiring Boards new and old through our normal channels to further our collection. All of our framing is done by Harold of Harolds Art and Plastercraft off of Roosevelt here in San Antonio. In our opinion he is the best in San Antonio. His Custom frames are always perfectly matched with the board and matting. His basic price for our boards start at around $70.00 - $75.00 each. We have around 15 or so that are waiting to be done at this time to be added to the walls in the near future. Putting the boards under glass insures their safety and longevity so we can all enjoy the history of talking boards. Framing is the toughest part of our budget to fund ... any help would be great.
