PayPal is an internationally recognized way to make payments online. Donors with a PayPal account can make a donation in seconds. And if you have a verified Premier or Business account (free) you can also accept donations via debit and credit cards through PayPal. Business accounts are designed for individuals in addition to businesses. PayPal is the preferred payment method for many, especially the more Internet savvy donors because it’s so easy to use and trusted. Creating a PayPal account is free and only takes a few minutes. However, please note that verifying your PayPal account can take a few days.
No problem. You can still launch your fundraiser by just activating WePay. You’ll always have the option to enable PayPal during your campaign.
You can, but we don’t recommend it as donors can sometimes have trouble with PayPal. We recommend enabling WePay in addition to PayPal.
