Campaign Story
I am a single mum with stage 3 breast cancer. I had a double mastectomy in February and finishing chemotherapy in a week. I will then need radiotherapy. For this I need to travel to the mainland every week for 4 weeks with my 4 year old daughter.
I also have 2 amazing dogs which I need to find someone to look after whist we are away.
Due to covid and working in hospitality my commission stopped and I have used everything I have to support my small family.
Any donation no matter how small will help me get the treatment I need to go on and be there for my daughter.
Thank you :-)

Longer radiotherapy needed 🥲
Update posted by Nicola Deesamer at 12:07 pmI spoke with my radiologist today and she has advised I now need 5 weeks of radiotherapy. Not the news I wanted but I will fight through it, it’s the last part of the journey for me to start enjoying life again with my little one xx
Chemo finished, radiotherapy looming.
Update posted by Nicola Deesamer at 03:01 am17th October, my last chemo! Now home, feeling a lot of pain which should go in a few days. It feels surreal that the chemo is over, now the radiotherapy journey begins in 3 weeks.
