Toby’s Medical Expenses

My sweet, sweet cat has increasingly high medical bills. He has chronic constipation that has been making him extremely ill, and we (myself and my family) have spent about $1300 so far to cover various consultations, overnight vet stays, x-rays, enemas, medications, and many other things that are currently escaping my tired brain.

He is a docile, affectionate boy. It breaks my heart to see him go through this. When he was first treated in March, we hoped and hoped that it would be a one-time thing. Unfortunately, it is turning out to be a chronic illness. I am raising funds to help with the medical costs of frequent vet visits (these include examinations, x-rays, enemas, etc.) as well as his medications, and the very likely surgery he will need to shorten his colon and allow him to effectively pass waste. We will also be changing his diet yet again and putting him on an exercise regimen to hopefully help fix his underlying issues and reduce the vet visits in the future.

Anything helps, even a simple like and share. I admit I feel very guilty to have to reach out to my friends and peers for help with this, but I am at the point where I need all the help I can get, so I can help the sweetest cat I've ever had the pleasure of loving. And I do, with my whole heart. I don't think I have ever felt more desperate for the support of my peers.
