Cora, short for Corazón, is a malnourished young pup who was severely injured when thrown from a moving car. She was found broken and lying on the side of the road, at nightfall, in the pouring rain. Both legs on her right side are fractured from being thrown. She had surgery with external pins to repair the fractures on both legs. She is also sick with parasites, skin fungus, malnutrition, and anemia. She is on antibiotics, pain meds, anti-parasite meds, flea treatment, and nutritional supplements. Cora has to re-learn how to walk once her legs heal. We estimate her rehabilitation costs will be $800. Cora is a loving, trusting, innocent young pup who deserves a chance to live a life surrounded by people who care about her. Please join her circle of care and help us meet her extraordinary expenses, so she can heal from neglect and trauma and find the perfect adoptive home.
