Campaign Story
I'm Uncle Nikko and this is my sister's first born, Gabriel Luther Enriquez. Born prematurely at 27 weeks last August 2, 2019 and is already fighting for his life at a weight of 1 kilo.
This medical necessity for both mother and child has caused such a sudden hospital bill that we needed to reach out for help. We can show you the bills, roughly 15000 pesos per day for he has been there for almost a month. The current hospital bill is around 750k (350k last August 26).
He is still intubated in the NICU, has pneumonia, and diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus, a congenital heart defect. A second opinion from the Service/Charity Consultant of the Philippine Heart Center is to wait until baby is at least 2kg before doing any procedure and requested a copy of all medical records for her to review, recommending a higher dosage of meds.
Neonatologist has advised a transfer of the baby to reduce risk of infection, experts suggesting a transfer to the Philippine Children's Medical Center since they have the needed facilities there for neonatal care, but at additional cost.
My personal resources have been given to the full extent. Her husband and her do not have the financial capacity to cover these expenses. That is why I'm knocking on your heart for any help to give Baby Gabriel a chance to survive this fight, and live and hopefully grow and thrive as any other normal person.

Manual pumping was administered. X-ray showed he still has pneumonia because of the long period of intubation on a mechanical ventilator.28 SeptOxygen now stable

We have already queued him for admission to the Philippine Children's Medical Center charity ward. Problem is the ward is still full and since baby gab is still being treated because of an infection, he had to be. . . . .
