Our 6 year old border collie, my sons best friend who grew up with him, was in an accident where he had a femoral condyle fracture and was rushed for emergency surgery 2hours from our home. He has more ligament damage that the surgeon said he tried his best but the damage was so bad to some ligaments that he was unable to repair. He has a joint disease now because of the extent of damage. I’ll have to read the booklet vet gave us for actual name but it is cruciate ligament disease of some kind. It is now a lifelong disease and he will struggle the rest of his life now :(. We pick him up tomorrow however he is on a long long recovery road and this injury will now cause him issues in the long run. Today we had to pay $4100 for visits, xrays, sedation then the surgery and the fuel to get him there 2 hours away. There is absolutely no goal we are just looking for some assistance and anything at that. We are not greedy people and we simply need any type of help to assist us in paying these costs to help and save one of our family members. We love you Turbo.
