One more story

Hi friends, family and supporters of my dream. My name is Scott Burton. I was raised in a small town in Danville California.Well at least it was small during the 70’s.Attended San Ramon High school, Go Wolfs! Participated in band, drama and choir and of course football games most notably San Ramon VS Monta Vista High. Thinking San Ramon won more! Well a few months ago I joined a Face book group called “If you grew up in the 60’s and 70’s in Danville”.It was awesome being able to reconnect with pass friends and classmates.During one of my conversations. I shared a passion I have for metal detection with my friend Sheryl Alderman.We talked about the fact that my dream was to go to Australia and mine for gold.I shared that this might not be in the bigger plan for me, but was encouraged to give it a try and see if we could raise the funds to get me to Australia on a tour.

Sheryl now puts in her two cents 😊 When Scott told me about living in the Philippines, I thought nice place to sit back and relax. But Scott was being too modest, Scott has been a wonderful asset to his community, he cares for the children there by playing Santa Claus in the heat and, humidity buys musical instruments, sport equipment for children can’t afford them.Check out the picture of the basketball team, you might be able to pick out Scott.Scott donates his time to these lovely children.He is working on digging a well, so that people in his community can have fresh water.Where he lives the water is only turned on for one hour a day.I was honored to help Scott reach a dream for himself, he is a blessing to so many others in his community, I thought this is one cause I and I hope you would like to be a part of.
