Help ALEX Be Cancer Free

We have created “Help Alex Be Cancer Free” campaign to raise funds for Baby Alex's Chemotherapy and Surgery.

Alejandra is our first baby and we fondly call her Baby Alex.

She was 1 yr and 9 months when diagnosed with Type 3 Sacrococcygeal Teratoma/Yolk Sac Tumor Stage 3 Cancer, by the doctors in Philippine General Hospital, after a series of laboratory tests and Ct scan.

Sacrococcygeal teratoma is type of tumor that develops at the base of the coccyx(tailbone). It is a birth defect affecting 1:40000 babies born and is usually detected by a routine ultrasound, but in her case it was not. Sacrococcygeal tumor is mostly benign but in rare cases, it is malignant. Baby Alex's case is malignant.

She will be needing 6 cycles of Chemotherapy and it would cost us P220,000.00. She will also be undergoing surgery to remove the tumor and the doctor advised us to prepare P250-300,000.00.

Alex is a fun-loving, adorable little girl. She loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Alphabet song, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Ring Ring A Roses, and Can't Help Falling in Love. She also loves to dance KPop (Baam and Boom Boom). She can make us smile and rub off positivity to all of us in the household. She is my only child and I would love to see her grow up and create her own future.

Sometimes we need to reach out to our family, friends and communities for help. I pray wholeheartedly for your donations to help reduce some financial burdens associated with medical expenses and travel related costs. Every bit will help during this difficult and challenging time.
