We can save the biosphere reserve in #CHIAPAS

On behalf of the faculty of biological sciences of the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas,Mexico we ask that you spread the news of the disaster happening in the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve and other reserves in Chiapas,Mexico.

Famous for being one of the most magical forests in the world, during the night of April 15 the fire went through the town of Montecristo de Guerrero and the villagers lost the battle against the fire and it spread to more than 135 hectares...

We find it outrageous the amount of news and support that has been given to Notre Dame and the little importance that has been given to the national and state level to the loss of one of the most important reserves of Chiapas, the world and central America.

We ask for help for the dissemination of this sad news.

People has lost lives, their homes and lots of animals such as quetzals, deers and jaguars left traces of escaping but might die soon.

We need financial support to restore the biosphera as soon as possible and support the villagers with their homes but especially because they are the only ones working to restore one of our biggest lungs, without any incentive.

We know there is kindness there and a smallest help can make big!

En nombre de la facultad de ciencias biológicas de la Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas, México, le pedimos que difunda la noticia del desastre que se está produciendo en la Reserva de la Biosfera El Triunfo y otras reservas en Chiapas, México.

Famoso por ser uno de los bosques más mágicos del mundo, durante la noche del 15 de abril, el fuego atravesó la ciudad de Montecristo de Guerrero y los aldeanos perdieron la batalla contra el fuego y se extendió a más de 135 hectáreas ...

Nos parece indignante la poca importancia que se le ha dado a los niveles nacional y estatal para la pérdida de una de las reservas más importantes de Chiapas, el mundo y América Central.

Pedimos ayuda para la difusión de esta triste noticia.

La gente ha perdido vidas, sus hogares y muchos animales, como quetzales, venados y jaguares, han dejado rastros de escape, pero podrían morir pronto.

Necesitamos apoyo financiero para restaurar la biosfera lo antes posible y apoyar a los aldeanos con sus hogares, pero especialmente porque son los únicos que trabajan para restaurar uno de nuestros pulmones más grandes, sin ningún incentivo.
