Help Genesis Alison our Leukemia Warrior

Dear friends and relatives,let me share the story of our Princess who is 5yrs old and battling Leukemia.It was started last June 24 2018 when our daughter Genesis Alison Llira accidentally slipped on the floor and made her arm swollen.We brought her at National Children's Hospital on June 24 2018 for check up and xray .The Doctor said that her xray result was normal and there's no fractured bone on her arm.One week after she's still complaining that her arm is painful and we noticed that she's getting pale and have a small bruises on her back,so we decided to go back again to the hospital.The Doctor suggested a complete blood count.After one day the Doctor called and said that they saw the result of her cbc and he advised that Alison need to confine because the result of her blood count is not normal.The hematologist talked to us and explained that our daughters findings result is Probably Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia,as a parent it is very painful to us to hear that she does have such an illness.

Alison confined on July 4 2018 and because of low Rbc and Platelet she needed a blood and platelets transfusions.July 12 she under go to Bone Marrow Aspiration Procedure and after waiting for the result her doctor said that because of small amounts of her bone marrow extracted there's no result seen,they suggested a repeat bone marrow procedure after two weeks.

The days passed she always having chills and fever.Her Doctor checked her blood (blood culture) to know if she have a blood infection and the result was positive of Salmonella virus.She was given antibiotics for fourteen days to treat her blood infection but no improvement seen she still chills and fever.Her next blood count result showed alarming low platelet count it dropped into 12,000 thats why she needed a Platelet transfusion again,her white blood cell dropped into 1.08 the Doctor said at that moment her immune systems is very low after almost four weeks of staying in the hospital she undergo again to the Bone Marrow Aspiration Procedure.

July 27,2018 her Doctor confirmed that our daughter is diagnosed to Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia standard risk and she needed to undergo to chemotherapy as soon as possible.

Now she's on her second month of chemotherapy,consolidation phase .
