Campaign Story
This campaign is to help me, Joseph Elliott (Bushmaster) stay on the trail. I took a gamble and started the trail before my house sold. I have a buyer under contract, but it will be up to 45 days until we close. And of course there is no guarantee that it will close with this buyer, so it may be longer, but I am confident it will sell soon. However, I have run out of money to keep the house running (electric, water, and hoise payment), so it has come down to either getting off the trail, or raising money this way.
Now I should clear plenty of money once the house closes, so, I plan on donating this money to a worth cause after the house closes. I had met, and was aware before that of some hikers from Hike for Mental Health. I am enjoying your updates via Facebook. The post that hit me with reality was when your feet was hit with thrush. Just think you could get help & rest, but the generation before had us just had to keep going. How humbling! Enjoy the rest of your long hike!

Update posted by Joseph Elliott at 09:59 pmCurrently all my needs are met, I am just still waiting on the house closing, which I had to give the buyer until September 25th, since she is waiting on a commercial loan. My morgage company Wells Fargo, has been really good about working with me.
