Please help Charlie

Hi Everyone, thank you so much for taking the time to read our plea for help.

Our little dog Charlie, who has just turned 8 years old, is having a bit of an unfortunate time right now. Wee Charlie has developed a Prolapsed disc which is pressing against his spinal cord causing paralysis of his rear legs. Charlie is in constant pain and unfortunately the medicine and pain relief the vets have given him don’t seem to be doing the job. We have insurance for Charlie, however the insurance company won’t cover the costs for this and we have been left with a few options from the vets of finding the £5000 to pay for the surgery or euthanasia.

As you will gather from our desperate appeal we don’t have that kind of money and with our first baby due soon we are finding it very difficult to come to terms with the decision given to us.

We will do anything to help Charlie and we hope to achieve this with your help.

For everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Charlie, you can attest to how friendly, playful, loving and funny he is. He is fighting very hard at the moment, however we know the moment for making that decision is very close and we would absolutely love to be able to make the decision that saves him.
