Girls Get Going

Hi,

This is a fund-raiser campaign to help me get my 2 wonderful daughters back in school.

Xanthia, a beautiful, ambitious 14 year-old who is determined to graduate from Harvard Law School in the future. I am moved by her drive considering she has no 'friends' to chat with about the ambitions and yet has a dream of becoming a lawyer. She swims, knits, cooks and reads to pass the time and learn as much as possible.

Victoria is a stunning, creative and entertaining social butterfly at 12 years. She is an empathic and sensitive young lady with a dream of becoming a dance instructor or a gymnast. She learned all her moves from YouTube and has started her own YouTube channel where her subscribers rise daily.She is definitely going to be a force of nature in the future!

These girls are very mature for their age. They have helped me care for their grandmother who passed away a year ago. During those final months, she was bed-ridden and required assistance to eat, drink, use the washroom and the girls would take turns in caring for their nana whilst I was out looking for work. They even helped me dress her for her funeral without any hesitation or squeamishness.

I grew up believing education to be the ultimate key to the world available to all of us and yet I have been unable to provide them with this very basic requirement.

Our current personal circumstances are holding us in place however once we raise the funds we intend to relocate to Australia where they will benefit from state provided education since they are both Australian citizens. The funds raised will be spent on resolving some complications with their visa status, and most importantly, to enable them to continue with their education and achieve their personal ambitions.
