Help raise £2500 in memory of our beloved father Haji Mohammed Basharat

We are wanting to raise £2500 to SUPPORT THE ORPHANS, WOMEN AND FAMILIES OF GAZA in memory of our late beloved father Haji Mohammed Basharat (65 years old) who sadly left us on the 08/03/2016. On Sunday 28th February 2016 our gem suddenly suffered a major heart attack in his house whilst he was relaxing on the sofa. None of us nor him did know that was the last time dad would be with us. He was put on life support machine in leeds general infirmary for 6 days and unfortunately doctors were unable to help anymore. His heart had failed completely and he suffered substantial brain damage due to lack of oxygen.

Dad continued to fight on until the early hours of 08/03/16 eventhough he was off life support. He slipped away peacefully in the arms of his son as he took his last breath. None of us, no doctors no medicine etc was able to save dad as his time was up from Allah swt.

In memory of dad and as sadqe eh jariya we are wanting you all to take part in this Gaza Appeal and donate even as little as £5. £2500 will help towards medical supplies, towards a safe space for 4000 widows and children and also towards an intensive care unit. May Allah swt bless my dad highest ranks in jannah for this and may we all be blessed Now and in the hereafter.

Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported: Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased). [Sahih Muslim – Book 13 – Hadith 4005]

Allah SWT says: “… and spend something (in charity) out of the provision which we have bestowed you, before death should come to any of you and he should say, o my Rabb! Why do you not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good.” (Qur’an, 63:10)
