For 4.5 years I have struggled to support myself through college, working 2 jobs and giving my family every extra penny I had -- and ultimately it's left me with no financial backing. The hardest thing on earth for me is to be a Graphic Designer without a computer. Without a means to create and research, to learn and grow. So as time passes I am left farther and farther behind in my profession because I don't have a financially... "blessed" family.
So in an effort to set my pride aside and seek help from the outside, I am in need of help. Help to acquire a new MacBook Pro (~$2,000) and Adobe Creative Suite (~$2,500) programs so that I can really get my life off on the right track and delve into this ocean of a career I chose for myself. Here I am with a degree, with a job and funds that only stretch far enough to cover my bills and to help my family and not a single dollar to put in savings. At the moment I can only access the internet to look at designs, network, etc. on my cell phone (which I've gone over on my data limit consistently now), and at work before I leave. My job has been great and has given me access to Linda.com to be able to learn more and use tutorials to learn new software and I am unable to access any of these tools.
If I will have ever have a chance to get into Grad School, or find a better job, or consistently improve to remain relevant within this job market, I need this help.
Any help is great help!
Thanks,
Timothy Bardlavens
