Eric was discharged from the hospital on Monday, June 14. The remainder of the bill was miraculously settled as the total amount came out much lower than expected. However, Eric still needs support for his daily meds which is currently estimated at PHP5,000 (USD100) per day. He is to return to the hospital after about 10 days where he'll undergo a CT scan which may cost about PHP12,000 (USD240). His savings is just about depleted and there's no telling yet if and when he will be able to return to work.
