OYOH_INITIATIVE_STOP_SPREAD_COVID-19

Update posted by Jerry Lukendo M Mparha

Miracles are happening for starving refugees in Uganda. These pictures were taken while OneYouth OneHeart Initiative distributes 10 kg of Maize Flour and hand soap per house hold. Sanitizers were distributed in terms of mobile money cash transfer. A total of 80 house hold were given food and hand cleaning items as the first group of the initial 120 families we (OYOH) are trying to help. If all you have is flour, it does not go very far but the women looked at it as a miracle from God. Your donations give a bag of flour and soap to the 120 urban refugees that we (OYOH) are trying to help who are starving. This will last about a week depending on the size of the family. Uganda has announced today the 14th of April 2020, the extension of the lock down for more other 21 days, meaning for many urban poor, including refugees who are already condemned to languish in their homes will continue to starve for the following 21 days. If you find it in your heart to give more, please do so and pick the option of supporting the already starving refugee families and vulnerable people in Uganda.
