Well,... it FINALLY happened! My books arrived!!!
Can you say YAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!???
I CAN, and I SURE did!!!

I was so worried that they would either NEVER come, or come months later after having being told that they'd be sent out and arrive a couple of weeks later. I just kept imagining that the whole thing was a scam! That I had paid ALL of this money to publish my book, but yet I was being taken for a ride, and the people at the publishing company had taken my wonderful book and made it there OWN!
OH HAIL NO! That would NOT fly with me!!!

I have to tell you though how amazing it felt, to finally hold my first born book in my hands. I was so happy I could have cried, but I didn't because I was just SO HAPPY, and desperately wanted to look through, and read every word even though I have read that book 5 million times to myself, the air, the dogs, the babies, and probably in my sleep!

It literally felt like when I held my babies for the very first time after they were born. So surreal! I couldn't believe it finally was happening! I had created this beautiful thing, and it was ALL mine, and NO ONE could take it away from me!

The feeling was like this...

The gravy to my mashed potatoes.
The curds to my poutine.
The hug after I love You.
The bum wiggle from my dogs after being gone for 5 minutes.
The kiss from 1 year old twins.
The milk to my cereal.
The Tea upon waking up.
The twins to my unexpected pregnancy.
The CRAZY, to my BEAUTIFUL life!
