BIG 'thank you' to those donors who have kick-started this project. We are up and running and artist Mike Byard tells me he is very excited.

I will tell you more about the creator of these lovely lakeland landscapes and of his close connection - historically - with this beautiful part of the British Isles in due course so stay posted!

Now that the Lake District is a World Heritage Site pictorial evocations of its past and of rural life for its hardy inhabitants then is of increasing interest - our book (and the prints associated with that publication) will go some way to capturing that past.

The book itself will be printed in November 2019 and available at key retail outlets in Cumbria and Lancashire (UK) mid-December. Prints will be also available at that time at selected art shops (including, hopefully, Waterstones in Carlisle, Kendal and Lancaster) in the region and online globally.

Those who have donated £20 or more will have their selected print very soon thereafter and in time for Christmas - the perfect gift for someone special!
