Bad news. The basement we are preparing to add a bedroom to just flooded. We quickly had our plumber out to snake the drain and found out more bad news. Our drain to the street from our house is collapsing and needs to be repaired ASAP. The water is down for now and we were able to clean up. If the drain gets worse it could flood again. He said i could cost as much as $6000 depending on how close to the street he needs to go. And even more if the pipe in the street needs repairs.
