The fire in #ElTriunfo biosphere reserve, in the Sierra Madre of Chiapas, in the village of March has consumed 135 hectare of vegetation.
In this year, fires have been registered in the ecological reserves of La Encrucijada, La Sepultura, Sumidero Canyon, El Triunfo and Lacandona Jungle. This jungle is one of the biggest "lungs" of Latin America, the areas where 65% of water is produced in Central America and are reserves of very important flora and fauna , much of them in danger of extinction.
