Update posted by Mary Ann Espiritu

Miguel was out of ICU and moved to normal ward since yesterday night. All his stats: heart beart, heart pacing, oxygen saturation, blood pressure are stable and still closely monitored. No more machines except for those used in monitoring his stats.

No more tubes or drain on him as well.

He had a PICC line inserted yesterday as he still needs the antifungal medicine for another 4 weeks. A PICC line is a thin, soft, long catheter (tube) that is inserted into a vein in arm, leg or neck. The tip of the catheter is positioned in a large vein that carries blood into the heart. The PICC line is used for long-term intravenous (IV) antibiotics, nutrition or medications, and for blood draws. Migz PICC is via his arm and he is still required to stay in the hospital for another 4 weeks for the duration of the anti fungal medicine course together with his other medications.

He is slowly moving more, sitting, taking walks and doing some rehab and physio for him to gain his body and muscle strenght back. He is lso always asking for his favorite foods! :)

We are eternally grateful to everyone that is continously praying for his complete healing and recovery. And thank you ever so much to all the generous hearts for the support!
