TACKERS bring together children who have have had transplants from around the world, to participate in camps where they have the opportunity to meet peers who have shared the same experience.

There are several ways you can help TACKERS. The children who come to their camps do so as their guests. TACKERS camps are funded by private and corporate donations. If you wish to make a donation use the given opportunity here.

TACKERS is also looking for motivated and caring individuals to join their team of volunteers at the next TACKERS camp in 2019. TACKERS is actually organising the next Winter World Transplant Games in the Valais in Anzere from the 7-12 January 2018.

The main requirements of a volunteer position with TACKERS are as follows:

• Be available and committed for approximately 8 days
• Want to make a difference and ensure the transplanted children have a great week
• Want to meet new people from throughout the world and have a great time
• Have experience supervising children and enjoy spending time with them
• Be a positive role model at all times
• Be full of energy and always willing to help out
• Speak very good English and ideally, other languages
• Able to work as a team with other volunteers and the Viamonde staff
