After just over one year we have been able to raise quite a lot of money for Khalid, so thank you very much to everyone who helped us supporting him.

Few weeks ago we discovered a sarcoma in Khalid's leg. This seems to be very serious, but he is undergoing a surgery this Wednesday (12th of September). Since the issue is urgent he needs to do the surgery in a private hospital. Accordingly, the operation won't be free.

We decided to stop this campaign and devote the money collected until now for this important surgery and the follow-up treatments.

We ask you to keep Khalid in your thoughts this week and we hope he will be able to recover from this further challenge that was put in his way.
