As part of the Gambia Book Donation Program, we organised an event for students, teachers, Ministers and others to come and learn more about sickle cell in the hope of spreading awareness of one of the most common genetic disorders in the world. The turnout was more than we could have expected and the event was well received by everyone who attended. Overall it was a huge success that may not have been possible without the help of everyone who donated, so thank you once again.
