More funds raised for pageant birth

Appleton - Happy Pancake President and pageant hopeful Nora Popp on Sunday raised all training funds needed for the Miss Wisconsin pageant. Pictures taken by renowned photographer Nicole Oldenburg at StudioKids Photography will be featured in local publications beginning next week. Programs will also feature the pictures and business sponsors.

"I can hardly believe we are $200 away from our goal," says Tony Popp, star fund manager. "She has made great strides in her promotions [thanks to taxi service and team marketing strategy expertise.]

To date, businesses Alpha Prime, a local paper converter owned by Richard Bartosic, StudioKids Photography in Menasha, and Schmidtke Orthodontics in Appleton are confirmed Popp sponsors for the competition.

Next week dream team chefs will debut ooey gooey pancakes at the Appleton Nationals 10U tournament in Green Bay. Topped with syrups and whipped cream, the breakfast treat will be available for morning fans. All proceeds will go towards August pageant competition entry fees.

"This is making my dreams come true," says Popp about the generosity of her backers.
