AIM: To collect the needed amount for the transport of two stray cats living a very unfriendly neighbourhood in Athens to have a chance at a better life in the UK.
Pappy Fountas is a neutered male of 6+ yo, who has spent all his life as a stray and who has endured so much. He is in good shape, pretty chubby, but has a chronic (non-infectious) condition where he purrs lowdly, sneezes and coughs (remainders of an old pneumonia). Apart from monitoring this once in a while, he is ready and anxious to get into cozy blankets. Kalos is a much younger neutered male (1 y old) who has been "adopted" by Pappy Fountas since he was a baby and they are inseparable. Our friend Debbie in Paignton has agreed to take them in and help them find homes in UK. In order for the trip to happen, we have to come up with around 980 GBP and that is just for the transport. It is not possible for us to do this without your support.

Update posted by R K at 09:14 amWe have not been able to raise the funds needed to transport the babies and in the meantime Fountas has been fluctuating between good and bad days. Since his intake in November, he has been better but not stabilised and medical bills have been supported by this fundraiser. We wish

Update posted by R K at 11:31 amTWO BABIES ARE DOING OK. KALOS IS OVERCOMING HIS SHYNESS AND FOUNTAS LOVES HIS NEBULISATIONS. WE HAVE CONTACTED OUR VET WHO SUGGESTED WE START AEROKAT+ SERETIDE, WHICH WE ARE GOING TO DO DURING THE WEEKEND. PLEASE KEEP THE DONATIONS COMING SO THE BEAUTIFUL BOYS WILL BE READY TO TRAVEL IN
