founds for trans-atlantic race

Hello

my name is Lawrence 23 years old,

Im oroginally from Rome-Italy but Im half-english.

Im tryng to raise some money in order to join the Christams Caribbean Rally 2013.This is a sailing race done on some really fast and sporty sailing boat (Volvo Ocean 60 “Cuba Libre”) which starts from Lanzarote and intends to arrive in Antigua by new years eve.

I'm applyng to this sailing race not just for fun, but because im tryng to become a professional in this kind of job and this  could be a great opportunity and an enormus baggage of experience. 

If I will make this trip I could then get the professional sailing certificate the RYA Yachtmaster offshore that is foundamental for this kind of job.

Making this trip will get me more prepared to then be able to get involved in the industry in a more profesisonal way and also I will learn things that I could never learn sailing just in the mediterranen sea.
