Foundation First Ecd and Feeding Scheme needs help

Foundation First early Learning Centre is a community bases non-profit organisation situated

in Delft, Delft is a communities on the cape flats and is notorious for high crime rates, unemployment, substance abuse, domestic abuse, and gangsterism all the socio-economic factors that effect a child’s development and create a community of children that are malnourish and under developed.

Our main Objectives is to provide the community with a service of early education to children that has been neglected, orphaned and any child in need from 0- 6years old, we contribute to the best possible start to their formative development. We give support to struggling Foundation phase Students on primary school level, and work in collaboration with other organisations that assist in making this crucial time when cognitive stimulation, nutrition and emotional attachment all work together. And providing two meals a day through our feeding scheme.

Our main source of income is by donations from generous individuals and companies like yourself, and fundraising events. With the current Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown we have been struggling financially.

Without any form of assistance or donations, I am afraid that our efforts to continue providing a service to the most venerable could mean the end of our organisation. We need your help!

Many children was dependent on the meals they received from the school feeding scheme and sins schools as been close it has and is difficult for them. We have only been able to provide a breakfast and a warm meal every alternative day, but with the winter season upon us we would like to make food daily. Short term funds will contribute to that goal and allow us to feed more children and families.

Long term funds will ensure that we do not have to close and will be able to provide the community with the best possible service.
