Fought Sexual Assault Case, drained funds for Medical Bills

Two years and three months ago, a now-deleted post on a social media platform came to light and went viral alleging a local man of sexual exploitation of minors. I happened to know some of the victims in the said post, and a handful of them were my friends.

Being a rape victim while I was still a minor myself, I wanted to stand for the silent suffering of everyone who were harmed or could be potentially harmed from further actions by the alleged predator. So I shared the post to warn others. A couple of months later, I received a court order that I must appear in court to stand trial for Cyber Libel. We fought and exhausted everything we can up until a month ago when the case finally came to a conclusion. For two years, I, along with my family, sacrificed countless weeks with barely any sleep nor rest. We've come to a point wherein we have had to sell some of our property just to have more funds to keep our legal counsel. Worst of all, my mother, who has been my closest ally, had to break bank and use some of her medical budget for the sake of the legal battle. All of this, while I was still studying in college. With everything going on, I found that I had to seek professional help because of the mental destruction this was dealing me, I was in my lowest and weakest, handling the most depressing chapter of my life yet- fighting for my very freedom.

Through the sheer skill and knowledge of my Godsend attorney, with the help of those who were brave enough and willing to testify, and God's benevolent light, we won the case and I got to graduate as well, and so came the time to heal.

Yet, here we are now. I was working my way as a Digital Artist through college, but the amount that I would earn there is barely worth anything now.
