Fostering and veterinary costs of Lulis a stray cat hit by a car

Lulis is a male cat hit by a car in the industrial zone of Tavros in Athens at the end of June. He was hospitalised for several days since, in the beginning he did not feel at all his back legs, he could not stand or poop or pee. His back has been hit at the area of the 04-06 vertebra and possibly, as suggested by the x rays, has bone marrow compression which has got better through cortisone therapy, the cat can now stand, and has gained more control on his urination/defecation. The cat is now in paid foster care and we need to collect money both for the foster service and for an MRI scan to determine whether or not a surgery by a vet neurosurgeon is necessary for a fuller recovery. This should be done as soon as possible since these kind of surgeries tend to have higher success if performed not long after the accident. We are animal volunteers tending to the medical needs of many strays and our resources are limited, plz help!!
