The staff of a literary magazine brings in a brand consultant, transforming an otherwise normal meeting into a test of how far an idea can go; it's media content, to total branding, to cult in the blink of an eye. A new play by Alex Fortune, 5 members of Bittersweet Arts Co. and a few supporting artists have the opportunity to bring a fresh story to the Minnesota Fringe Festival and they need your help!

Bittersweet Arts Co. is a support-for-support collective, exchanging artistic wellness and human energy by providing members with a safe and open-minded artistic environment, where members can continuously explore, create, and develop art in innovative and imaginative ways. Each member works to achieve an artistic goal that they set themselves; goals can be for the individual member, a group of members, and, sometimes, even the whole collective. This production of Forsythian Dweller's Club is a group project led by Alex Fortune and David Stobbe, featuring members Alexis Allotta, Henry Weisel, and Alec Silver.

Taking this show on the road is perfectly the spirit of Bittersweet's support-for-support mission. Opening a line of connection to Minneapolis, bridging the gap between theater communities helps the collective find resources to tap, find access to future collaboration, and brings Chicago's DIY mentality to Minneapolis to see where it fits, differs, and thrives. Moving forward the collective members will use these experiences to enliven both their work and the work that they will touch outside of the collective.

Your support would do wonders to assist in the travel, production, and living cost of the artists involved. Our goal is lofty and optimistic but there are a few crucial price tags that need to be covered, including travel, production expenses, and assistance for our young artists to offset the costs of living in a new city while sacrificing their day jobs for 14 days. Any small bit you could give to help provide this unbelievable experience to the members of our collective would be so appreciated!
