For my father’s angioplasty.

I am Angelique Ferrer, 28 years old from Midsayap North Cotabato, Philippines. This is my father, Rolando D. Ferrer, 84 years old. Who needs to undergo angioplasty with 2 stents. We humbly ask for your spare time to be with us. Any form of help is much appreciated.

My tatay has been very conscious and always open to everything when it comes to his health. He is 84 years old , full of positivity and has a strong faith in God. We've been very blessed for he is physically fit, healthy and well.

He never had serious complications. updated check ups, laboratory and diagnostic test twice a year to make sure that everythings are in shape and all were on its normal state and to prevent any complications and further problems that will arise..aside from that, he is physically fit, can do and work on with his activities of daily living . such as waking up in the morning, doing his morning routine exercise, stationary bike and stretching..

Few months ago, hes complaining of shortness of breath , fatigue and heart burn. There were some occasions he experienced edema in feet and also pain on his back and arm.

Last April 30,2019, we had his laboratory and diagnostic exam. His Doctor here in Midsayap (Dr. Leila Tanudtanud found out that the 2d echo results were not that good so she suggest that its better if we could see a cardiologist for further information and recommendation.

We went to Davao city and had an appointement. Dr. Elfred Batalla, a cardiologist at Davao Doctor's Hospital. recommends that an Angiogram will help to further assess tatay's heart conditon.
May 19,2019. An angiogram was performed, there it was found out that his left and right artery has 70% blockage and Angioplasty with 2 stents is the best way to treat tatay's condition. The procedure will cost (400,00-450,000).
Due to lack of fund, we decided not to have his be done right away..the Doctor told us that whenever were ready (financially) we just have to inform them anytime as possible..

We don’t have this much but we did not hesitate to decide and to go for angioplasty even we dont have the means where to get the said amount. Still were in the midst of searching for ways and seek for help .

If angioplasty will be done, the chances of tatay's life will extend.. he could live more years, he can still experience beautiful life, explore and live life to the fullest just like before. we look at him not just a tatay but a pride of the family.

Me and my tatay been together since I was a baby. he spoiled me aNd provided me with everything. I dont know what my life will be without him. . Being her daughter, it hurts to know that I dont have any means to help and support my family for my tatay's angioplasty. me, the only thing I could ever give to him is my service and love..To me, nothing can compare seeing him happy and healthy everyday than having material things and possessions. Our love to him is priceless.

We will do everything just to be with him and to spend more years together. I wanted him to be the very first person to witness the life that he wanted for me.. all I ask is the opportunity to have spend more time with him.. I want him to experience everything that he never experience and done before.. please , please I am humbly ask for your help to make things possible for my tatay, help us to give him the life of what he deserves..
