This is for my dad who is hanging on to dear life since he was transferred to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) last July 27, 2020.

I understand times are tough and I appeal to you, my dear friends, relatives and colleagues, to donate to my fundraiser.

No donation is too small.

Yours will add up to the chain of hearts that feel for my father's medical plight.

My father has been on dialysis since 2014. A diabetic for 18 years, he has been in and out of the hospital due to complications in his heart and lungs. He also suffers from a fractured lower hip spine. This mid-July, he was treated for water retention in the heart and lungs. While monitoring his dialysis, the onset of pneumonia was diagnosed for fluid in the heart. He was discharged on the 24th of July, but was admitted again the next day for edema. His pneumonia has also progressed. However, oxygen was in low supply in his heart and lungs. As a result, on July 26, he had a cardiac arrest at 2:30 PM.

With God's grace, he was successfully revived back to full consciousness. He tested negative for Covid-19, however, he must breathe through the assistance of a ventilator in the ICU due to his condition. Most critical is his unstable blood pressure that continues to drop.

In order to keep my father alive, he must remain in the ICU until his condition stabilizes while undergoing dialysis sessions.

I ask you all, as a worried daughter to my father to kindly donate whatever you can for his medical treatment. As a single mother to my six year-old son, I ask you to remember what it's like for a little boy to wait to tell stories to his favorite Lolo (grandpa) again.

I shall extend a prayer for each one of you, along with my family, for your prayer petitions as well and continue to serenade you with songs to express my deepest gratitude.
