Help give Dr. Jim Trinidad a fighting chance for a better life, free from liver cirrhosis!

Dr. Jim is a loving son, brother, husband, father, friend, and mentor. He devoted his life in service to other people as a general surgeon, practicing in the University of Santo Tomas and in the Quirino Memorial Medical Center. His life has been focused on providing care for the sick especially to those who themselves have financial difficulties, many times even treating patients without asking for any fee in return.

Last May 2018, he was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis, which is an end-stage liver disease. He has been in-and-out of the hospital several times this year due to complications (infection, pneumonia, liver encephalopathy). He is currently confined at the National Kidney Transplant Institute where he is bravely fighting and holding on as we wait for a liver donor. A liver transplant will give him a new life, able to move and do everything he did and enjoyed before.

We want you to join us in our dad’s fight against liver cirrhosis. We are raising funds to cover the costs for his liver transplant operation. Afterwards, he will be staying for one month in the hospital to recover and monitor for any complications. He will also be taking lifelong medications to maintain his new liver.

We would also appreciate your help in looking for a cadaveric O+ liver donor. If you have contacts with hospitals, kindly forward the contact numbers of HOPE-NKTI at 924-HOPE(4673) or 0916 756 8511 & they will be the ones to talk to potential donors.

Any help will go a long way in providing Dr. Jim medical care and attention and in giving him a new life. Thank you and we wish you all good health!
