Isaac is our 7-year-old son who was born with severe congenital hydrocephalus and suffers from other diseases such as epilepsy, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, defects in the urinary system, scoliosis, among others. Isaac is a native of Old Providence, a small island located in the Caribbean, and belongs to Colombia where he has always lived. But in 2020 in order to improve his health conditions, Isaac and his mother traveled to the city of Bogota. Covid 19 and the passage of Hurricane Iota through the islands on November 16, 2020, left the island devastated, and also took the life of his maternal grandfather. Isaac and his family had to settle in the city because the current conditions on the island do not allow him to live there. This campaign seeks to improve the conditions and quality of life of Isaac in Bogotá in terms of mobility, access to specialized education, rehabilitation therapies, and palliative care. We want you to help us give Isaac a chance to start over and build a better life far from home but close to his family.
