Forgotten Felines of Cyprus

Last sunday a stray cat made his way into our flat and just lied on the floor, at first I thought its one of our furballls but then I realised it's a complete "Stranger" in a terrible condition, extremely dehydrated and both eyes closed of sickness a bloody mouth and rotten teeth...

of course I didn't hesitate and started to clean the cats eyes with some camomile tee and thanks god his eyes seemed to be OK just heavely infected.

I then rushed to my VET (on a Sunday again) to give him a chance to survive. The Doc said he has a heavy cat flue for quit some time now which explains his life threatening condition. He then gave this poor cat some shots and was puto on a drip to battle his massive dehydration.

He has to stay in the clinic because of his severe sickness but the doc said he has little chances to survive but he pulled through and started eating 2 days after.

I did not start a fundraiser before as I wasn't sure if he will make it.

But yesyerday my doc said he will make it and as soon he is strong enough he will have to remove all rotten teeth and kastrate him.

I kindly ask anyone out there for some donation towards his VET bill as I will not be able to pay it all alone.

We call him "Assy" and we hope that we can give him a furever home once he is in good shape again.
