Foreign student needs a laptop

Hello gogetfunding community!
A year ago, with the help of my parents and grandparents, I came to Germany in hope of getting a better education and a better job than I could get back home. Around the same time my computer's case (an MSI laptop) started cracking up to the point where one of the two hinges completely broke of. The little money my family sends me and what I can earn from small freelance projects barely is enough to get me through the rounds and sometimes it isn't enough, like 4 months ago, when I had to find accommodation in a cheaper place.

So, for more than half a year, I used the computer with a pile of books behind it so that the lid doesn't fall of. I have to move it a lot from home to school and to a friend for whom I work occasionally (I'm doing small programming tasks when they run out of ideas).

Last week disaster struck, the display started flickering and in a few hours it went completely black! Now I'm desperate because I can't keep up with homeworks and also I can't get those small jobs which helped me float financially. I'm a full time student and don't have any spare time.

I'm ashamed of asking my parents because I know that keeping me here is a great financial burden for them, but they never complain and always cheer me up. Their motivation is that I someday finish my studies here and this long separation is over and I get a good job back home.

Some friends recommended this site and after a few days of consideration I gave in. So that's why I turned to all of you for help and support.
I am grateful for any amount, because it brings me a little closer to overcoming this situation.
